Benefits of Being Bilingual

There are tons of languages spoken throughout the world. Every person has the capability of handling at least one language, which he or she learns in his childhood which is used for basic communication and comprehension. However, many people can speak two or more languages. There are numerous benefits of being bilingual such as an improvement in linguistic, helping others foreigner.

For example, I have learned English for six years. My dream is to run a multinational company. As we know, English is most frequently used by people all over the world. Thus, I firmly believe that if I can speak English it is, to some extent, easier to finish my dream. Also, learning English makes me happy and be proud of myself. For instance, a western couple visited my hometown last summer. A lot of people were curious about them because my hometown was a small place. Rare of people has seen western people in the real world. The couple stopped to watching a nice pair of hats and then they talked with the seller. Obviously, however, the seller did not understand them. I thought I should help them, so I asked the couple whether thy wanted to buy this pair of hats. They said yes and asked me the price of it. I asked the seller the price and then told the couple. They thought it was very cheap and bought them. Thus, I helped them have done this deal!

Meanwhile, many people are capable to learn a second language. Some people learn another language in their own country. Others learn it in different countries. Recently, tons of institutes and schools offer foreign language courses. Many colleges and universities open some foreign language courses in their regular academic syllabus too. However, learning another language, you need to understand its improve vocabulary and basic grammar. Being bilingual offers greater sensitivity to language, more flexibility in thinking and a better ear for listening. It opens the door to other cultures. Moreover, knowledge of other languages increases the career opportunities, offering several job options.

Visual literacy is a good way to writing

Maya script and Chinese script are quite old methods to record something. In the reading material, Maya writing is most well-known because its decipherment attracts lots of people’s attention. They are unique visual literacy and are the simplest way to record what happened in ancient time.

There is no doubt that recent we still sometimes use this kind approach to start writing. My experience is a good example, usually before I start writing I will have brainstorm. It helps me get some ideas and examples to illustrate the questions. Also, I write them down on a piece of paper and draw a draft because by this, I can find the relationship or connection between each point and example. This visual staff is like the Maya script because both of them could be regarded as writing.

However, this visual literacy sometimes makes people confused since it just shows the roughly outline of its meaning. It means that some specific information can not be presented on it. Crucially, some missed details are actually important information to translate interpret the writing, especially when archaeologist translates the ancient scripts.

"How does literacy shape technology? How does technology shape literacy?"

They are intereting questions. Those two questions seems to be related to each other. In my opinon, the shapes of writing technologies accompany the process of developing of literacy. For example, the most basical technology is pencil. If there was no writing exsiting before, it would not be emerged. Meanwhile, the literacy can record the technologies and makes the public possiblely have access to understand and interpret the technologies. For instance, if a new washing machine were invented, we can learn how to operate it by instruciton that is also a kind of literacy.

My viewpoint of the second question is that technology creats tons of novel, various literacy, especially when computers were used to as a method to composetion. There is no doubt that the fiction would not be imerged without the high development of technology. It also provides us with a visual perspective to observe the world around us.

The proposal of my project 4

This project is not only creative but also practical because it requires us to make a media to express our ideas. The idea should be discussed in precious projects. It means that we should the different method to support our point.

What I plan to do on this project is to make a video about American peer painting culture. You know, there is a wall right across Bessay Hall, is painted by people .Specifically, what I will do is to record the process of painting and to ask what they guys passion is. What they want to express to others.

I think this project is related to the third project (literacy). As far as I am concerned, painting is very popular among young people in the America. It should be regarded as an unoriginal culture of America. Also it can be a kind if literacy because people need to understanding something and interpreting it and finally people express their thoughts or ideas by painting. This process correctly is the kind of literacy which we discussed in the class.

When it comes to audiences, they are composed of three parts. Firstly, my teacher will watch it because this is the class work. Secondly, the painting makers, maybe they are interested in this project because they can know what they do during creative a painting. Lastly, the most component of the audience is some people who are interested in painting culture and how to paint.

I am your audience

When it comes to the persuasive media impress, I want to recommend a website to all you guys. (www.loe.org) It is the weekly environmental news and information program distributed by Public Radio International. At beginning of reading it, to be frankly, I did not like it because my purpose was just to get something to write down. By this, the ISB ( the course is related biology) professor would give me the extra credit.

When I, however, know it more depth, I am into this website. Firstly, the comphemeon or some science reports discussed in the interview are truth. It means that they are persuasive. Because before they host and interviewer discuss the issues, the host will introduce the basic background of the interviewer, such as what interviewer's degree is, what he or she does and which institution comes from. Thus, we can figure out that their reports and points whether are correct by this basic information. For example, if a professor(PHD) who comes from MSU's agricultural institution giving a new report about new agricultural product, I think that I am willing to believe what she or he said. Because ,as most people knows, the agriculture institution of MSU is the one of the best agriculture institution over the world. It is very hard to acquire the PHD degree from MSU' agricultural institution.

This project is the most creative that I have ever made. There are four people in our group. We cooperated with each other very well. Firstly, we talked about our majors. Two of us have the same major. Then we made a list of requirements of our different majors. For example, my major is marketing. I am required to learn some case studies, the basic computer science, marketing management and data analysis. The next step was that we put individual list together and found the common points. We pointed out the different aspects. We tried to find the relationship between those different aspects and made them connect to each other. For example, one of our group members learns the Finance. He is required to learn the data analysis. He and I are connected by Internet literacy because we both use the Internet resources to analyze the data. Finally, we didn’t make a map until we knew the connection of each other’s literacy.

My role in our group was to find the connection of our different literacy. What I did was to find out the same or related aspects between us. If there were some same or related ones, it illustrated that our literacy was connected. Also I was responsible for printing our literacy map.

The Cooking Literacy

Currently, tons of people are tired of cooking since they spend more and more time on their jobs than ever before they did. On the other hand, as the development of the fast food, it is convenient and easier to cook for most people. However, I think it is not the real cooking if people just need to put food in microwave oven.

I learned how to cook from my mother when I was a child. There are many methods cooking, such as fry and steam. Firstly, my mother taught me how to use the season, and then she showed me the process of cooking. The cooking literacy is important for people because it, to some extent, illustrates the basic ability of independence. For example, I always cooked by myself five years ago because my parents spent lots of time on their new business. Since that time, my cooking skills had been improved rapidly.

Cooking is also a good way for me to enhance the relationship of my friends. I usually invite them to have dinner on the weekend. We always cook dinner together. Some people go to buy the materials. Others cook. We are good at trying to cook new style dishes even them taste awful. During the cooking, we talk about some interesting news or the plans of future. It is a chance for us to talk with others and reduce our pressure.

I do benefit from the cooking literacy is the time I plan to live off-campus. Tons of students who live off-campus complain cooking. They think that wastes their time cooking. Lots of my friends only eat twice a day. However, I regard the cooking as an interest. The feeling of cooking my favorite food makes me enjoyable. Thus, I don’t worry about it when I live off-campus.

Literacy 4 shopping online

So far, I have bought three things from Amazon which is a very famous online shopping website. This click style shopping is absolutely attractive to me because I would be tire of shopping when I spend two or more hours in a real store. You know, the girls like shopping and they seem never to be tired. The click shopping, however, changes my shopping style and makes me love shopping. I am willing to share my experience of shopping on Amazon, different kind of literacy related to the Internet.

I read the instruction of this website and learn the procedures of buying stuff. There are three steps to finish shopping. Firstly, registering an account is required. People should have an e-mail and all information should be true. Then, people find the goods listed in the website. If people already know what product they want to buy, they can click the category to shrink the scale. By this, we can find the products as quickly as possible. When we selected one, the next step is to order it. Consumers need to sign their exact address and credit account number. Amazon provides different shipping methods. Consumers can choose them according to their own schedules. When we finish all that, what we should do is wait and expect how wonderful the product is.

There are two reasons why I learn the on-line shopping literacy. First of all, I don't need go to the shopping mall if I want to buy something. I can shop at anytime because they sell products during the whole year. On the other hand, I save lots of money when I buy something online. For example, I bought an Hp all-in-one printer yesterday. The price of it was 99 dollars at Bestbuy. However, I bought it on Amazon, it cost me 70 dollars including a printer and a ten feet USB cable! Thus, this kind of literacy makes me buy something conveniently.

The Driving Literacy

I learned how to drive a car in China last summer. The process of getting a Chinese driver license is quite different from the American process. The most significant difference is that in the USA, the applicants are allowed to start driving the cars as soon as they finish their writing test. On contrast, in China, you are able to drive a car logically only when you pass all tests.

Driving literacy is important to modern people because it tells you how to obey the transportation laws. If people, however, don't obey it, there are disastrous consequences, such as, injury and death. So what is driving literacy in my mind? I think it should be composed of two parts.

The first section is that the transportation laws. The drivers must know the meaning of the different traffic signs, markers and symbols. For example, the first picture in the top shows you can't turn left. The second sign give a signal that pedestrian symbol. There is a writing test examining driver this kind of laws.

The second section requires that all of drivers must have capacity of driving in the real world, this means that they must pass the practice test. My father taught me how to move the car from one parking-slot to another and return to a parking slot. Then, when I knew some basic skills, I started driving on the road. During this time, I found that I was scared when a track was coming in front of me. I always thought that it would hit my car. When I learned how to drive, I felt the road was not as broad as I thought, especially in one-way road.
So far, I have driven a car safely based on those two indispensable requirements.

Now, I am considering learning how to drive in the USA. The first step is to learn the American driving literacy.

The Internet Literacy

The first time I started having access to the Internet was when the elementary school opened computer courses. During that time, I heard of Microsoft, windows98 and the Internet. I still remembered my teacher said that the internet was like a line that connected people who had access to it all over the world. The first thing I learned what the e-mail was. Through learning it, I registered an e-mail account. I can hand in homework, send the files to people and give the messages to friends by it. It is really a wonderful tool.

The internet is a vast ocean with unlimited resources. It is broad, and has no boundaries. Any of individual is like a boat which sails on the ocean. How do we know our destinations? The captain would say that a compass was an indispensable part for them. According to my experiences, the Internet literacy is like a compass when we surf the internet. It tells you what kind of information you need and how to explore the new things. For example, I benefited from the internet literacy when I prepared for the TOEFL. Initially, I didn’t know there were tremendous on-line resources. One day, one of my classmates told me of two website named www.xiaomaguohe.com and www.taisha.com

I spent three days searching through them. I found that their purpose was to provide kinds of free test-related resources. They were BBS which were both composed of four sections, such as Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing. So you can find your problems and solve them specifically. Most of the users were students, this meant we can discuss our problems and get the latest news even though we didn't have the teachers. Listening and speaking sections are my weak parts, so I downloaded lots of listening and speaking materials. I practiced them every day. If I had problems, I would discuss with others on those BBS. Futunetely, My TOEFL scores were 83. I was so excited when I knew my grades. In order to thank people who helped me a lot, I decided to write a paper about my experience of testing TOEFL.

Stock Litericy

I like reading newspapers when I wait for the bus. It is not only a good way to kill time, but it also keeps e updated on the lasted news and some interesting stories. Through experience of reading newspapers for many years, I learned how to buy the stocks in the business section. I like to invest as a hobby.

For example, during the economic crisis, the stock markets collapsed disastrously. You could imagine that how many people were upset. In my opinion, however, the meaning of crisis is the combination of danger and opportunity. So, I decided to buy some stock during the economic crisis. Firstly, I roughly analyzed each stock and what its company did through my local daily newspaper. I focused on the real estate category of listed companies as most of people did. Then, I compared the price of each stock. I deleted some of them with a price higher than 7 Yuan since I should be careful. One day, I suddenly found a headline stating that the government had set up a package of economic stimuli. The main trend of this project is to improve infrastructure, such as high ways and bridges. When I read this news, I was thinking about how the prices of road and bridge construction shares would increase because of this policy. So, I collected the related data and news. Based on the data and reports, I was sure the price of this kind of share went up. So, I bought 1,000 shares of the Sichuang road and bridge company. The price of it was 5.7 Yuan per share. The result was that its price increased 1.4 Yuan per share; this meant that I earned 1400 Yuan.

Because this kind of literacy, it makes me think about the finance and analyzethe company. Also, I get lots of benefits, such as earning money and practical experience.

What the " Literacy " is ?

In my opinion, it basically represents people who can read, write, speak an listen. It is considerablely important skill to know our society, yet as author mentioned, literacy is not a neccessity, for peosonal survival.

Meanwhile, i think that if people can understand something and write something down . it can illustrate they have capacity of literacy.

I chose three different genres, such as a movie, a song and a picture. The first one is about a song. "Mother Nature Needs Us" reminds people of serious environmental contamination. Secondly, I talked about a famous movie named The Forrest Gump. It is one of my favorite movies. It more or less changed my way to look at life and adversity. In this essay, I wrote my opinions about this movie and what can I learn from it. The last one I wrote about a picture which is the symbol of a nonprofit organization.

Before I wrote this assignment, I reviewed what we learned in the classes. I think that writing these three essays is a good way to practice my deep thinking. When I watched or read the texts, I tried to interpret them and wrote something down then organized them. I like the content of my paper because it represents my thoughts and ideas. People can comprehend what I want to say. The approaches which I used to connect the sentences are not normal. This is my weak part of my writing. For example, I unconsciously use the word “and” to connect each sentence. I have a big problem that I do not know how to describe a subject or the feeling in detail because of scarcity of adjective and adverb.

Based on requirements of scoring standard, I suppose my paper can get 3.5 Since it satisfies most of the requirements, especially in terms of grammar area, I made few mistakes. At deep thinking area, I did much better than last time. Meanwhile, my paper’s organization is coherent and constant. It is easy to follow for readers.

The- Picture

This picture describes four hands holding together that wear the Green Ribbon. It has special meaning to me because it was created after Wenchuang earthquake. It is the symbol of non-profit helping organization which offers goods and medical care to victims. It has special meaning to me since I experienced this horrible earthquake. Fortunately, I am still alive. I could not forget that day in my life and the feeling of closing death. People who had experienced this catastrophe could understand this picture more sentimental than others who had not. In my opinion, these four hands represent adamancy, union, faith and expression the love.

The inevitable fact was that tons of people died. Disaster brought huge pain to people. However, looking at these four hands, they hold each other strongly. There is not one hand but four in picture. It represents that we do not yield in front of damage since all of people stand in one line. We did not care about money and there was no strife and argument. What we did is to encourage people overcoming the disaster together. People were victim in disaster area, but none of them just think about their life rather they helped the children and women to move save places firstly.

Moreover, I can feel another meaning of this symbol strongly. It represents faiths that are hope and confidence. Disaster and difficulty are not horrible, but it is lethal thing if we lose our hope of living and confidence. Sometimes, the faith creates the huge power, especially in despaired. For example, during this disaster, a mother and her son were buried under broken buildings for five days. But they survived without eating and drinking anything. It was incredible but it was true. When reporters asked them how could they do that? The mother just said that she did not want to her son die and she tried to reduce her son scare and encourage her son to live! So they overcame the death with the faith.

It also represents the expression of love among whole people. Solders, nurses, road workers and volunteers were in first line of disaster and worked for day and night. Their goal was to save more people. Public raised the money and goods when they heard that a really big earthquake occurred in Sichuan Province. People who were in disaster area moved when they saw tons of people cared about their situation.

Movie --- The Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump.

Forrest Gump is so worthy to be watched that I saw it twice. What a moving and positive movie it is! After watching movie, people were shocked by Forrest Gump because the director’s idea had struck a responsive chord in the hearts of its audiences.”Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re goanna get.” This is the most classical line in the movie and it really made people to think about their life. The future is completely unpredictable, hence we should cherish every single day and made it meaningful. For my view, this movie really teaches us the true meaning of life and the power of striving. At first, Gump was an unsuccessful person who had lower IQ and there was something wrong with his legs. And his friends always played jokes on him. Nobody would think he could be successful. This was the impression of him at the beginning. The results ,however, were that he obtained his friends’ respect, becoming a big football star since his speed, being rewarded by president because his great performance on the war, running over the United States and lastly, he got every surprising and romantic love.

So, what I am thinking now is that how could he do that? I firmly believe that if we know how he could do that , we can understand the real meaning of this movie.

First of all, Gump was honest and brave, who kept his own words. All of these assets are indispensable characteristics of a successful person. I was really moved when I saw he went back to very dangerous war field immediately to save his friend. He even did not think about his own life. It reflected the beauty of friendship.

Furthermore, he explored the a career as a captain of wrecking shrimps because he wanted to help others achieve their dreams. Though hard work, they made huge profits. Gump did not care about how much he should get even though the big success mostly depended on his ideas and organization. This is quite different from situations in the real world. Tons of people are eager to acquire reputation, position and money. For example, some scientists wanted to be famous. They fabricated the lab data or some important phenomenon to make them successful. While , this movie could teach us how to be successful through right methods.

Meanwhile, people can learn a new way to look at our life that isn't as bad as most people make it look like, from the successful experience of Gump. It is true that reality always makes people tired and unhappy. But if people have the target and good outline of their life, they could find life is more meaningful.

“Mother Nature Needs Us” is a name of a song. I listened to this song, it is not just a song but has a far-reaching idea expressed by the singer. As far as I am concerned, it is this idea that stimulates singer to create this song. She used an unique method to call on people to protect environment. By my emotional response from this song, I think that she use very happy, refreshed tone to remind people of this serious social problem. After I listened to it more than five times, I found that the lyric of this song is true becayse people can interpret real meaning of this song from the lyric.

At the beginning of this song, she told us recent environmental problem, such as acid rain, global warming and water pollution. Those are the strong points in this song. There is no doubt that environmental contaminations are not one country or area’s problem, they have become the global issue. Facing this problem, the singer wanted to use this song to encourage people to work on this issue together and find a solution. She imagined a beautiful world where people drank pure water and children could play under the clear, unpolluted sky. She firmly believed this should not be a fantasy but a reality if we could stand as one line and start planting the seeds.

What I am interested in is what seeds represented here? Do they represent the project of protecting environment, hope, or action of protecting our common atmosphere? I think all of those are seeds and useful approaches to change our current polluted world. Meanwhile, the author regards nature as mother. The fact is that we cannot survive without the love of mother. So it considerably illustrates the importance of a good environment. One line from the lyrics “we were blind but now we see” in this song has special meaning for the singer. What the singer wants to express is that “blind” referred to people damaged the environment in the past, such as hacking forest, water pollution. On the other hand, the words” now” and “see” prove the fact that people realized the problem and tried to find some ways to prevent our home from being contaminated.

It is worthy to listen to this song because it makes us feel that we should pay more attention to our environment and do something to improve the quality of our atmosphere.

A day witnessed love

A big earthquake occurred on 12.5.2008. when time was 2:28 at noon, I just waked up and surfed the Internet as usual. Suddenly, I felt my PC was moving and my body was winging. After few seconds, all staffs lied on top of frigeage dropping down. At this moment, i ran out of the door, saw my neighborhood hanging the fences. my asked him what happened ? he told me this was earthquake, dime it , what in my mind was that earthquake was far away from me and I never thought I would caught in this kind of disaster. Then i asked him did he caught in a earthquake like this. he said no. I realized that this earthquake was big and powerful and i cared about my girl so much. I went back my bedroom imidimetly, the took zheng tou on my head to prevent myself from hitting. I tried my best to go downstairs but unfortunately i lived the top floor of building. the more time passed, the less hope I felt. I do unremembered that when I was on third floor, I supposed the building would collapse and I would die. At that moment, my mind was really messy, my parents, my sisters ,my girl,my friends and my life , was it time to say goodbye to all of those??? No, I did not want to lose any of them so I used all of my energy to run. Hope was coming. when I was second floor, the building stopped ```. I run to the classroom where my girl was in. On the road, I saw everyone was scared and some of them liked me because they wanted to find their husband ,wife or children. Because all people blocked the road, it was very difficult to find my girl and more desperately, cell phone service was not available. I scrammed my girl's name along the crowed people.
luckily, I found her. I was confused that she seemed to feel good. when she saw me, she was really excited, the gave me a bear hug. I took her to very save playground and we stayed there for rest of the day. it means we did not sleep on that day. We did not stop calling our parents and friends but it did not work!
This was unfortunate day, but this day also witnessed the love and the friendship between my girl and me!

YOU ARE STILL HERO!! LIU XIANG

Liu Xiang (born July 13, 1983 in Shanghai, China) is a Chinese hurdling athlete and Olympic gold medalist who held the world record in the 110 metres hurdles with a time of 12.88 seconds.

This image potried Liu Xiang tried him best to compete with other athletes and at last won.

The pose, the hurdle can tell us the beauty of sports. Indeed, look at his eyes, what do you find? How do you feel? combatant spirit, explosive power and target . This moment made every Chinese in every corner of the world excited and proud. In my point, He created the myth like Obama. You know, tons of western people said Chinese never have chance to get in 8th in track and field. and fact is that we didn't do a good job in this field .However, when Liu Xiang won the Olympic game, all nationwide celebrated it . He brought something to public which can make people enthusiastic ---Heroism . I do remembered that almost my friends started liking doing sports when Liu Xiang became our common hero. This atmosphere is positive and refreshing.

Unfortunately, Liu Xiang got injurid when our own country held the Olympic game. As we know, this game is not only a competing game , but it also represented the great development of China. Everyone wondered whether Liu Xiang can get gold and all people believed him but as the same time, they also put the huge pressure on him. On game day, He really did everything he can do but fate always not fair. He gave up the game since injury. Spectors are all at the sea.

Indignation, disappointment and tears were expressed . After the game, lots of people thought Liu Xiang lose Chinese face.But , I think Liu Xiang has his right to choose what he want and as a professional athlete, he knows what he should to do. So Liu Xiang is still hero in my heart.

This song named" You Were My Everything " by Aviation. It tells us a story between couples. The text is so good that we can know how much they loved each other and ,unfortunately , their love was going to broken. The man wanted to kept the girl and he driven the car on dangerous highway. At that moment, he didn't care about his save.What he what to do was to tell his girl how much he loved her. This scence makes people move.

Every person is an individual in the world and has different personality,background and occupation. some people are leaders, lawyers and others are unskilled worker and so on. From my view, "what you are is what you decide to be" is a faith to every person. I means it really tells you what you want to be ,what you want to pursue. It has tremendous energy if you believe it. For instance, Obama, the first black president in us ,had created the miracle in the American history. I really like him because I can find some special characteristics from him such as passion, confidence, youth. Ok, let us think that why he won the run? Because he decided to be a president. So it illustrate that the energy of a strong faith.

This article is absolutely social perspective and indicates a serious social problem in My country. you know, some western presses uauslly reported unexisted things about China. As a Chinese, however, I can confirm the content of this report is ture. it reported some resons ,respongding to shortage. Along with speeding development of economic, the damend of resources also sharply increase,such as coal which was mentioned in passage. this kind of resource is not unlimited one, the more use the less leave. Moreover, In China, there are tons of illegal or informal coal mines which the save equipments are uncompleted,leading some extreme accidents such as mine explosion.

On the other hand, I think this serous issue was not only faced by China, but every country in the world also was. broken English sometimes is good

I read this article carefully and I fout that the author is very good at writing since it's easy to understand,like her mother said. She discussed both advanteges and disadvantage about broken english and perfect english. yes, I have the same sence with her according to myself(I am an international student)
Lots of people thought her mother's english is limited.But if we thought it in deepth, we could find that even though the sentences are simple but it represent whole information and what she want said. In some case, I prefer to say broken English . This is my first time to go abroad to get further study. When i talk with my classmates or ask for questions ,I usually speak broken english( I surppose it is broken) but almost of them can know what I want to say. Unlike in my coutry, when I speak english , I will consider many aspects about grammor and thus my thoughts were limited. So this inllustrate that limination is not always limination.
however, there is no doubt that we were in trouble when we lack ability to use second langudge.
For instance, there are two general problem categories . First is langudge problem. it means you will spend more time on reading book as there are many unfimilar words . communication is also langudge problem. It is difficult for almost international students to talk with natives very fluently. The second is academic issues. the textbooks and lectures confused us.

the relationship between language and how you perceive the world

How does humanity perceive the world? Personally speaking, there a lot of approaches to know the world such as learn the experience from others people, read kinds of books. As far as I am concerned, language is one of the most indisapensable requirements of perceiving the world.


For whole humanity, there is no doubt that language extend the range of human knowledge since it was created.Before language exsited, the methods of people explore the world are always accidental and dangerous. For instance, one burned his hands when he played fire at first time and he could know fire is dangerous and will be carefull when he light the fire. Others, however, they did not know what happend that means some people will be burned again. So if there is a way which can express people feeling , emotiong, and thoughts, like language, people could acquire tons of knowledge and experience even they do not do it by themself .So language is bond to enhance the development of our evolution and civilization.

For individual, language is magical tool to understand different culture. Learning ancient culture is classic example, archaeologists found the old language and tried thier best to translate it. When old language was translated, may be we have chance to know what ancient culture would be.
