Movie --- The Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump.

Forrest Gump is so worthy to be watched that I saw it twice. What a moving and positive movie it is! After watching movie, people were shocked by Forrest Gump because the director’s idea had struck a responsive chord in the hearts of its audiences.”Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re goanna get.” This is the most classical line in the movie and it really made people to think about their life. The future is completely unpredictable, hence we should cherish every single day and made it meaningful. For my view, this movie really teaches us the true meaning of life and the power of striving. At first, Gump was an unsuccessful person who had lower IQ and there was something wrong with his legs. And his friends always played jokes on him. Nobody would think he could be successful. This was the impression of him at the beginning. The results ,however, were that he obtained his friends’ respect, becoming a big football star since his speed, being rewarded by president because his great performance on the war, running over the United States and lastly, he got every surprising and romantic love.

So, what I am thinking now is that how could he do that? I firmly believe that if we know how he could do that , we can understand the real meaning of this movie.

First of all, Gump was honest and brave, who kept his own words. All of these assets are indispensable characteristics of a successful person. I was really moved when I saw he went back to very dangerous war field immediately to save his friend. He even did not think about his own life. It reflected the beauty of friendship.

Furthermore, he explored the a career as a captain of wrecking shrimps because he wanted to help others achieve their dreams. Though hard work, they made huge profits. Gump did not care about how much he should get even though the big success mostly depended on his ideas and organization. This is quite different from situations in the real world. Tons of people are eager to acquire reputation, position and money. For example, some scientists wanted to be famous. They fabricated the lab data or some important phenomenon to make them successful. While , this movie could teach us how to be successful through right methods.

Meanwhile, people can learn a new way to look at our life that isn't as bad as most people make it look like, from the successful experience of Gump. It is true that reality always makes people tired and unhappy. But if people have the target and good outline of their life, they could find life is more meaningful.
